To calculate the lot size to open a cfd trade with a trader will need to specify the micro lot by choosing the trade order size a 0.01 lots before opening a cfds trade.

A trader will specify this using the trade order window on MT4 and select 0.01 trading volume as explained on the cfd example shown below:

To set these cfd orders on MT4 Platform: open MT4, open a "cfds trading chart", right click on the "cfds trading chart', choose 'New Order' and then choose the order either sell or buy as shown below.
