Grid, Volumes, Auto Scroll and MT5 CFDs Chart Shift Options on MT5 Platform
MetaTrader 5 Grid
The MT5 grid button on the charts menu option of the MetaTrader 5 CFD Platform is used to draw grid lines as shown below. A trader may prefer to trade with grids on the cfds chart or not and will use this button key to show or hide the Grid.
The MT5 Grid button is shown below (Shortcut for this menu is Ctrl+G)
MetaTrader 5 Volumes Indicator
Volumes in CFD represent tick volumes or the number of times the tick for cfds price changes during a particular time period. The more the tick changes the more the volumes. These volumes in CFD are used to estimate the number of cfd traders participating in the cfds market.
Volumes are drawn as green bars below each cfds candle , and the height of these green bars represent the tick volume for a particular candlestick. ( Shot cut keys for Volumes: Ctrl+L )
MetaTrader 5 Auto Scroll
Auto scroll option when activated will automatically scroll to the most recent cfd candlestick bar for every cfd chart that is opened. Therefore, the most recent information is displayed and as a trader you do not have to scroll to these recent cfd candlestick bars every time you open a new cfds trading chart.
MetaTrader 5 CFDs Charts Shift
This MetaTrader 5 CFDs Charts Shift button is used to shift the cfds chart more towards the center, instead of the last candlestick being right at the right side of the MT5 cfds trading platform, the MT5 cfd charts shift button will shift the most recent cfd candlestick towards the center. CFD traders prefer to trade with most recent cfd candlestick shifted toward the middle - this makes it easier to analyze the cfds chart price movements when they are more towards the center.
For example, the MetaTrader 5 CFDs Charts Shift button is shown below as an arrow pointing down, by pressing this MT5 cfd charts shift button key within the chart menus(highlighted below by a rectangle), the last cfd candlestick will shift from the right and move up to this point as shown in the MetaTrader 5 CFDs Charts Shift example illustrated below.
