Drawing Line CFDs Charts in MT5 Platform

This is the fifth option on the charts menu within the MetaTrader 5 platform. The line cfd chart button shown below.

The line cfd charts are not popular and are not used by many traders as these do not show a lot of information that is useful for cfd technical analysis. This MT5 option will only draw a cfd price line that connects the closing cfd prices of a cfd instrument leaving out all other data.

When compared to cfd candlesticks that will show the Opening, the Closing, the Low and the High of cfds price, then the line cfd chart leaves out a lot of information in its graphical representation of market movement.

Most of this information is useful and used by most traders when using cfd technical analysis method therefore the cfd candlesticks are preferred because they provide more information for cfd technical analysis.

For this reason this charting technique is not popular among technical traders & therefore not widely used.
