How Do You Analyze Commodities Trend Line?

A commodity trend line can be an upward commodity trend-line or a downwards commodity trend-line.

An up commodity trendline is drawn by connecting 2 lows and the commodities price lows are connected using straight line. This straight line shows that the commodities prices are heading upward because this commodity trend line slopes upwards - hence its name upward commodity trend line. Commodities traders then use this commodity trend-line as a support zone of the commodities price. New buy commodities trades are opened once the commodities price touches the upward commodity trend line.

A down commodity trendline is drawn by connecting 2 highs and the commodities price highs are connected using straight line. This straight line shows that the commodities prices are moving downwards because this commodity trend line slopes downward - hence its name downwards commodity trend line. Commodities traders then use this commodity trend-line as a resistance level of the commodities price. New sell commodities trades are opened once the commodities price touches the downwards commodity trend line.
