To log in to your gold trading account follow the procedure described below:

Before placing any xauusd trading on the MetaTrader 4 platform, you'll be required to login to your xauusd account and get authenticated before gaining access. Authentication is checking to see if the gold login details you provide for User-name and Password are correct details.

To begin trading on MT4, just click on 'File', then choose and click "Sign in" button key from the file drop down menu as illustrated below.

As a trader once you click this log in button key, then a pop-up window will appear prompting you to put your Username and Password as shown below:

Once you in put your Username and Password you will then have to choose the server: because this is a demo gold trading account, for this instance you will then choose 'Demo', if it was a real gold trading account/live xauusd trading account then you would have to select 'Real' Server on this option by clicking the drop-down arrow on the right side of the above text box.

Then tick the box 'Save Account Information'

Then Click 'Login'

Once you click login your gold login details will be authenticated and you will then have access to your MT4 xauusd trading account & when logged in to your xauusd trading account you can begin to trade & place new orders in the xauusd market on the MT4 platform. If you do not have gold login details you can get these details by registering a practice trading account with a xauusd trading broker. To login to a real xauusd trading account you will need to open a real trading account first with your xauusd trading broker.

Once you login you can then check your account balance and set up your xauusd trades. To know that you have logged in to the correct xauusd trading account you can check details as shown below: (You'll need to open Navigator Window: Key board Short-Cut Keys, Press Both CTRL+N on your keyboard)

If you have many xauusd trading accounts on the same MT4 software platform, these accounts will all be listed on this option, you can double click on the account icon to select the xauusd account you want to log in to from this navigator window.
