How Do You Set a Sell Limit Order on MetaTrader 4?

The examples illustrated and described below explains how to set a sell limit order on the MetaTrader 4 platform.

A sell limit order is an order to sell gold at a better trading price after the price has retraced.

Setting Sell Limit Orders in MetaTrader 4 Software

To set these sell limit pending orders in MT4 software use the following procedure:

1. Right click on chart
2. Choose "Trading" Option on the Menu
3. Then Choose "New" Order Option on the Popup widow that pops up
4. Then on the trade setup pop up window panel that appears (illustrated below), under label "Type" select the option of "Pending Order" instead of "market execution" trade order
5. Under the pending order options select the pending order type: for This trade select "Sell Limit Order" so as to set a pending sell limit order & after which specify the price at which you want the sell entry limit order executed.
