How Do I Set a Sell Stop Order in MetaTrader 4 Software?

The example illustrated and described below explains how to set a sell stop order in the MT4 platform.

A sell stop order is an order to sell gold at a xauusd price that's below the existing market xauusd price.

Setting Sell Stop Orders in MT4 Platform

1. Open a Gold Trading Chart
2. Right Click on Chart to open the Trade 'Order' Window Panel
3. On the Trade Order Panel, Select Pending Order as shown below
4. Select Pending order Type as Sell Stop Order as Show below
5. After selecting Sell Stop Order - Click 'Place' Order and specify the sell stop xauusd price level where the order will be opened
