How Do I Hide Symbol in MetaTrader 5 Trading?

To hide gold Symbols on the MT5 platform use the MT5 'Market Watch' Window.

To Open MetaTrader 5 Market Watch WindowPanel, Click 'View' Menu next to 'File' Menu at the top left corner of MT5 software, then from the dropdown menu choose 'MarketWatch' button key so as to open 'Market Watch' in the MetaTrader 5 Software.

Once you open the Market-Watch window the listing of available symbols will be displayed in the MetaTrader 5.

As a trader you may want to hide some of the symbols available on the MT5 platform so as only to be left with trading instruments that you are only trading with.

If you want to hide xauusd Symbols live quotes on this Market Watch window, Right Click within the Market-Watch panel & a Pop Window appears - from this popup window select the option - 'Hide All' - this will then close all the quotes that you aren't trading with - only symbols which you as a trader have opened charts to trade with will be left on this display of trading symbols.

To Save Internet Bandwidth, (Especially if you are using phone trader App, or pay per MB inter-net)

To save internet bandwidth choose list of all the trading instruments you will be trading by opening charts for only these quotes, say example, 5 instruments, after selecting these symbols by opening their charts, then choose & click 'Hide All' button, this will then hide all the quotes which you don't require to trade with and this will save you internet bandwidth.

You can always 'Show All' quotes >>> then Choose a new gold quote by opening its chart, >>> Then 'hide all' after you have selected the new gold symbol, your newly chosen gold symbol will be added on this minimized list of trading quotes in MetaTrader 5 platform.
