MT4 Tutorial Gold Chart Analysis
4 Hour XAUUSD Chart
Gold Chart - open the chart of the gold symbol selected - in the 'Market Watch' window on the MT4 software.
To Open MetaTrader 4 Market Watch Window, Click 'View' Menu next to 'File' Menu at the top left corner of MetaTrader 4 gold trading Platform, then from the dropdown menu select 'Market Watch' button key so as to open the 'Market Watch' on the MT4 gold Platform.
Once you open Market Watch window panel the list of available trading instruments will be displayed on the MT4 platform and as trader you can open a xauusd trading chart from this market watch window panel.
MT4 Market Watch Window for Adding XAUUSD Quotes in MetaTrader 4 Software
The market watch window on MT4 is used to display an array of quotes for trading instruments.
To access this Market Watch display of trading instruments on the MT4 Platform a trader should go to the view menu as shown below & select the Market Watch Window by Clicking on it. (The Ctrl+M is the short cut for accessing this window as shown below, by pressing this shortcut, you can enable market watch window without going to the 'view' menu)

Once a trader selects the xauusd market watch window, the following window panel will pop-up showing a list of Gold available for trading.

If you want to add more gold charts gold quotes on this Market Watch window, Right Click within the Market Watch window and a Pop Window pops up - from this popup window choose the option - 'Show All' - this will then display all the trading instruments which are available for trading in MetaTrader 4 platform.
Once these gold quotes are opened on the Market Watch window panel, you can then choose any of the gold quote and open a gold chart by double-clicking on that xauusd price quote.

As a trader you may also want to gold trade a gold that is not listed on this MT4 trading instruments list as shown below. For example on the above list only 5 financial instruments are shown.
To get the other gold symbols which are not listed, you can right-click inside this market watch window as illustrated below and the following window will appear.

To show a list of other gold symbols, choose the 'Show All' button, this will then display all the available trading instruments.
