How Do I Hide XAUUSD Symbol on MetaTrader 4?
To hide gold Quotes in MT4 platform use MT4 "Market Watch" Window.
To Open MetaTrader 4 Market Watch Window Panel, Click "View" Menu next to the "File" Menu at the tops left corner of MT4 platform, then from the drop down menu select "Market Watch" button so as to open the "Market Watch" on the MetaTrader 4 gold Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window the list of available instrument quotes will be displayed on MT4 platform.
As a trader you may want to hide some of the gold symbols available on the MetaTrader 4 platform so as only to be left with the instruments that you are only trading with.

You can always "Show All" quotes >>> then Choose a new gold symbol by opening its xauusd chart, >>> Then "hide all" after you have selected the new gold symbol, your newly selected gold quote will be added on this minimized list of trading quotes in MT4 software.
