To trade XAUUSD on the MT5 software you'll need to first open the Chart. The Charts Symbols are Grouped in Symbols on MetaTrader 5 Market Watch Window, These quotes are the online price quotes of the Online XAUUSD.
Using this XAUUSD Symbols an online trader then can use these streaming quotes to open the Charts - Charts on MT5.
Once one opens the trading charts on their MetaTrader 5 platform software they can then open a trade for XAUUSD on from this charts. Traders can open a buy or sell trade for the particular online trade instrument that they want to trade.
To Add the Quotes in MT5 Platform:
- Open MetaTrader 5 Software
- Click "View" Menu Next to the "File" Menu at top-left corner of MetaTrader 5 software
- Click and open "Market Watch" Window
- Once you Open Market-Watch Panel in MetaTrader 5 - then right-click inside the Market-Watch Window
- On the SubMenu that Pops Up, Choose "Show All"
- All Quotes on MT5 Platform will then be displayed on the MT5 MarketWatch Window.
- Select the MetaTrader 5 Chart Marked and Grouped as XAUUSD on the MT5 Market-Watch Window & Click on the Symbol to open the Chart on the MT5 Software.
Once you open the MT5 Chart you can analyze the price movement of the prices and even open trades from this charts on your MT5 software.

How Do You Add Charts on MT5?
To show a list of other MetaTrader 5 Charts quotes including other trading symbols quotes on the MT5 Platform, choose the "Show All" button, this will then display all the available MT5 chart symbols and trading symbols on the MT5 including those of online charts and you can then choose and open the MT5 Chart from the symbols.
