Platform MT4 Market Watch Window for Adding MT4 Quotes on MetaTrader 4 Platform

The market-watch panel on MT4 serves to present numerous price quotes for gold. To view this on MT4, a gold trader should follow the path to the view menu, as shown below, and select the Market Watch Panel by clicking. (The keyboard shortcut for this window is 'Ctrl+M,' as illustrated: pressing this shortcut will open the marketwatch window without needing to access the 'view' menu.)

Once one chooses the market watch window panel, the following window will then appear showing a list of quotes available for trading.

As a trader you might & may also want to trade an instrument that isn't listed on this list. For example illustration, on the above listing only 5 trading instruments are displayed. To get the other quotes that aren't listed, you can right-click inside this marketwatch window such as shown below and the following pop-up window will appear.

To see a list of all the other symbols, click the 'Show All' button, which will then show you every available forex currency pair to trade.

To conserve internet bandwidth, especially when using a mobile trader or paying per MB for internet.

To conserve bandwidth, identify and select only the trading instruments you plan to use, for instance, ten currency pairs. Once you have made your selections, click the 'Hide All' button to conceal the pairs you do not wish to trade, significantly saving your internet bandwidth.

Even if saving data isn't your priority, you can pick the 'Hide All' option, which helps your computer use less power and memory, especially if your broker has lots of MT4 options. You don't need to see all those options in real-time on your screen, since you only need about ten real-time prices or a few things to trade. You can always 'Show All,' pick a new pair by making a chart, then hide everything else: your new choices will stay on the minimized list.
