Platform MT4 Market Watch Window for Adding MT4 Quotes on MetaTrader 4 Platform

The market-watch window/panel on MT4 is used to display an array of Gold quotes for gold. To access this display on the MT4 a gold trader should go to view menu just as is shown below and choose the Market Watch Panel by Clicking on it. (The Ctrl+M is the keyboard short-cut key for accessing this window as shown and illustrated below, by pressing this shortcut, you can open market-watch window without going to 'view' menu)

Once a trader chooses the market-watch window panel, the following window will then appear showing a list of quotes available for trading.

As a trader you might also want to trade an instrument that isn't listed on this list. For example illustration, on the above listing only 5 trading instruments are displayed. To get the other symbols that aren't listed, you can right-click inside this marketwatch window such as shown below and the following pop-up window will appear.

To explain list of other symbols, choose 'Show All' button, this will then display all the available forex currency pairs.

To Save Internet Band-width, (Especially if you're using mobile trader, or pay per MB internet)

To save band-width select a list of all the trading instruments you will be trading, for example, ten pairs, after choosing these, then select and choose and click 'Hide All' button, this will hide all the pairs that you don't require to trade & will save you a great deal of internet bandwidth.

Even if you don't want to save band-width, you as a trader can select the choice/option to 'Hide All', this will save computer processor resources & RAM, especially for brokers who provide hundreds of MT4 symbols & instruments, there is no need to have these 100 or 200 instruments streaming on your platform after all you need only about 10 realtime quotes or just a couple of financial instruments to trade. You can always 'Show All'>>> Choose and Select a new pair by registering a chart, >>> Then hide all, your new chosen ones will be added in the minimized list.

Quotes Options - Quotes option can be used to also add or hide MT4 symbol. You can download MT4 and click symbols to see how you as a trader can add or remove trading financial instruments using this option.

High/Low - Displays the high & low of the day just next to the quote

Time - Displays the current time of day next to the quote

Auto Arrange - Automatically arrange in accordance to the selected order

Grid - Add or Remove Grid on the Price Quotes

Popup Prices - Show prices as a Pop Up Window within the MT4 Platform.
