What's MetaTrader 5 Charts Tabs?
When you open many charts on the MT5 software, these charts are arranged in navigation tabs bar just below the MT5 chart work space as cited below.

If an MT5 software display bar is not highlighted as shown in provided illustrations, follow the recommended procedure to reveal the MT5 bar along with its associated tabs.
If you click the 'View' menu, you'll see a list, and the fourth option is called "Charts Bar," as we mentioned earlier. To see this bar on the MT5 Platform Software, just click on that option to select it, and it will show up, displaying all the open trading charts as tabs, which traders can click to open any chart they want.

Activating this MT5 setting will cause an associated MT5 bar to appear: this bar includes navigation arrows, enabling a XAUUSD trader to easily move left or right to view other active charts from that single bar interface.
These MT5 chart tabs are used to organize all the open charts on the MetaTrader 5 software in an orderly manner. This MT5 tab also gives the Gold trader easy access to any trading chart that they might & may have opened.
As the online trader continues to open more charts, this MT5 Bar of chart tabs adds navigation arrows to the right and to the left MT5 bar, this way a trader can scroll to the left or to the right of this MT5 bar of chart tabs until they find the chart that they want to trade.
For ease of navigation each tab on this MT5 bar also displays the chart timeframe for which a particular chart is set for. The last MT5 Tab does not show the chart timeframe & a gold trader has to use the right and left scroll arrow MT5 buttons next to this tab to navigate. Once the Gold trader reaches one end that arrow is then grayed out - as cited above, the right arrow scroll button key above is grayed out because the first chart is the first chart on the right side of this MT5 bar.
