Opening an Offline Chart in the MT5
Within MT5, you might find it useful to open a chart detached from real-time updates for analysis purposes. While a gold trader may infrequently require an offline chart, this capability is a feature available within the MT5 Software Platform.
As depicted, the second option in the 'File Navigation' dropdown menu pertains to opening a chart that is not currently active.

When a gold trader clicks to open a chart that's not connected to the internet, a small window will show up, and they can pick which chart to open.

From the aforementioned pop-up menu, a trader can access any offline chart listed. The number of price bars saved in a specific offline gold chart is recorded, along with the date, capturing the XAU/USD chart up to the latest update.
While this MT5 option isn't crucial for trading, it is beneficial to explain it for tutorial purposes.
