How to Add MT5 Indicators on MetaTrader 5 Charts
Step 1: Open The Software Platform Navigator Window Panel
Open the Navigator panel just as is illustrated and shown below - Navigate to the 'View' menu (then click it) and then select and choose 'Navigator' panel (click), or From Standard ToolBar click the 'Navigator' button or press key-board short-cut key 'Ctrl+N'
On MT5 Navigator panel, select and choose "Technical Indicators", (DoubleClick)
Step 2: Expand the MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator
Expand the menu by pressing the protract(+) tool/button impress ( + ) or doubleclick the 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button will appear and be shown as (-) & will now show as a listing like illustrated & shown below.
From Above panel you can then add any MT5 indicator which you as a trader want in the MT5 chart.
Setting Zigzag Indicator on Chart
Step 1: Select/Choose the Zigzag button in MT5 list of indicators like as shown below:
Step 2: Double Click the Zig Zag Button, & press ok to place and set it on chart just as illustrated and shown below:
Edit Zigzag Indicator Settings
To Change Settings, rightclick the Zigzag, select properties setting and then edit properties using the pop-up menu which pops and then click ok button once you've changed the setting.
Following pop up panel window pops up & the Zig Zag settings can be altered and edited from this pop-up window.
