How to Place Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Window

Open the Navigator panel window as shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click it) & then select "Navigator" panel (click), or From Standard Tool-Bar click the "Navigator" button or press key-board short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, select "Indicators", (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking expand + button marked (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a listing as illustrated below.

From the Above panel you can then add any trading indicator you want on the +trading chart.

Step 1: Choose the Standard Deviations button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the Standard Deviations Button, & click okay button to add the technical indicator to the chart as portrayed below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change the Settings, right click in the Standard Deviation Indicator, select properties setting and then edit property settings using the pop-up menu that pops & then click okay button once you have changed the settings.
