How to Place Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Window Panel

Open the Navigator window as shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click it) & then choose "Navigator" panel (click), or From Standard ToolBar click the "Navigator" button or press key-board short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, select "Indicators", (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking the expand (+) button marked and tagged (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a listing as illustrated and shown below.

From the Above panel you as a trader can then add any indicator you want on the trading chart.

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change the Settings, right click in the Standard Deviation Indicator, select properties setting and then edit property settings using the pop-up menu that pops & then click okay button once you have changed the settings.
