What Does Technical Analysis Mean?

Technical analysis is the study of metals price charts so as to learn how to predict metals price movements in the metals market.

Technical analysis uses historical metals price chart data to predict the next likely movement of the metals price trend.

Metal trading analysis also include the use of various metals price patterns that can be identified on metals charts by metal traders. These metals price patterns are identified as commonly repeating metals price patterns that can be used by metal traders to predict the next likely market movements based on the technical analysis of these commonly repeating chart metals price patterns.

Traders then come up with various metals trade strategies that incorporate these technical analysis methods in their metals trading plan & then use these strategies to generate metals signals and determine when to buy a metals , when to open a sell metals trade and also when to close a metals trade position.

Technical Analysis is Based on Three Factors Common in the Metal Trading Market:

1. Metals Price Moves in Trends

Metals Price movements follow metals trends. This means that after a metals trend has been established, future market metals price movement is more likely to be in the same direction as a Metals trend than to be against it. Most metals trade strategies are based on this technical analysis concept.

2. Metal Price Discounts Everything

Technical analysis only considers metals price movement and assumes that, at any given time, metals price reflects everything that has or could affect the metals price including a country's economy and even the fundamental factors. This only leaves the study of metals price, which is a product of the supply and demand for a particular metals in the metals market.

3. History Tends to Repeat Itself

History repeats itself mainly in terms of metals price movement. The repetitive nature of metals market movements is attributed to metals trader psychology; in other words, metals trading participants tend to provide a consistent reaction to the metal market most of the time. Technical analysis uses metals chart patterns to analyze these chart metals price movements. Although these metals charts represent historical data they are still relevant because they illustrate metals price patterns that often repeat themselves.

List of All Metals Technical Indicators

Understanding this metal trading analysis in metals trading can be a valuable tool in determining the metals trend of any market and assisting with entry & exit levels for your metal trades.

The goal of these technical analysis methods is to help metals traders determine when a market is trending, & when it is not. If the metals price is moving in one particular direction, then we want to be on board. If it is not, all you are going to do is lose money as you will get whipsawed around and this is not what we want as investors.

Unfortunately, many metals traders fight the metals trend and buying/selling in the opposite direction of a this market metals trend direction, trying to pick a tops or a bottoms, only to see the metal market move further in the direction of the metal trend.

Another common mistake metals traders often make is adding onto a losing position, averaging a loss. This isn't a good metals trading strategy especially in a strongly trending metal market. It is something that experienced metals trader never do. The metals trend is your friend, never go against it.

Metal trading analysis studies alert metals traders of setups & there are no certainties in financial market. Profits come from using proven metals trading strategies & methods to find a trending metals market and taking trades in the same direction as that of the metal trend.
