Setting Up MetaTrader 5 Crude Oil Trading Platform

After you've registered for a oil practice trading practice account - you'll use the account login credentials & you as a trader can use then download & install MT5 oil trading software on your computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the folder where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl and J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your downloads will pop up), double click the download MetaTrader 5 file and click next, next until you finish installing.

After you've installed MetaTrader 5 oil trading software you will then open MT5 platform from the start menu of your PC computer. After you've opened MetaTrader 5 platform you will see the MT5 platform interface you will be working with and it may seem complicated at first but it is not.

At the 'top left corner' of the MetaTrader 5 platform software click on the 'File' Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see 'Login' and click it. You will then be prompted to enter the 'username' and 'password' that you got when you registered for a MetaTrader 5 practice trading account on your oil broker's website.' You are now logged into your MetaTrader 5 platform and you're ready to begin oil on the MT5 platform.

After this you will see your oil account balance displayed just below the crude oil charts and you can now start using the MetaTrader 5 platform to place demo trades on the crude oil market.
