Getting Started with MT4 Web API - MT4 Oil Platform Web Based Platform - MT4 Web Browser Platform

The MetaTrader 4 Web Based Platform is the web platform version of the MT4 Oil Trading Platform for PC Desktop Platform. MT4 Web Trader Version provides the same look and feel for the MT4 platform as that of the MT4 Oil Trading Platform for Desktop PC. MetaTrader 4 oil trading software is a oil software that is installed on a client's computer & it's intended to do the following:

  • Plot oil charts Information about price rates in the form of a grid ( trading chart )
  • Receive Streaming crude oil price quotes from the brokers
  • Perform trading operations: Buying & Selling
  • Show the open crude oil trades and oil orders
  • Perform technical analysis on crude oil charts
  • Testing of trading strategies on Oil demo oil accounts
  • Provide account statements of trading history and a summary of profits/losses.

MT4 Web API - MT4 Oil Trading Platform Web Based Platform - MetaTrader 4 Web Browser Platform will be similar to the MT4 platform interface that is shown above only that oil traders will use a web browser to login to the MT4 Web Trader platform. From the Web browser MT4 platform crude oil traders can open trades, interpret oil charts and get a summary of trading account balance, open oil orders and open crude oil trades.

MetaTrader 4 which is also known as MT4, is designed to provide trading tools that can be used by crude oil traders to make trading decisions. The oil software provides online quotes and streaming data about crude oil price movement. This information is delivered directly to the MT4 platform. This information that is delivered in format of real-time quotes is then analyzed on the MT4 platform using the technical oil tools provided for within the MetaTrader 4 platform.

The MetaTrader 4 software is a free trading platform that is provided for by crude trading brokers. You can download the software from online broker's sites, once you download it, you should then install the platform on a PC Desktop computer that has an internet connection & then connect to your oil broker & begin receiving streaming quotes. You can also access this MT4 trader through your oil broker MT4 Web API - MT4 Web Based Platform.

The MT4 has different window and chart panels each designed to deliver a different type of market data data, starting with the oil exchange rate quotes used to draw oil charts to the Market data window panel, MT4 Tool-bars for attaching oil technical indicators to the crude oil charts and the main menu bar used to navigate the MT4 software.

Installing MetaTrader 4

To install MT4 you will have to download the trading software, then launch the download, from there a setup wizard appears and all you've to do is to follow the setup instructions. After setup the platform will run automatically just like any other software. You can launch the MT4 from the start menu.

With the MT4 oil account traders can login to either the MT4 Web API - MT4 Web Based Platform or the MT4 desktop platform and get access to their oil account from either of these two crude trading platform.
