How to Set SL in MetaTrader 4 Android App

A stop-loss order is an order used in stock indices to close out an open trade if the trade transaction heads against the trader's position by a specified number of pips.

Once the stop loss stock order is set at a specific level, this stop loss stock order will automatically/mechanically close-out the open trade once the stock trading price gets to this stop loss stock order stock trading price level. Stop Loss order is used in indices equity management so as to stop further losses if a indices trade is going against the direction of the trader's open trade.

To open a new stock order - buy/sell trading use the tools popup menu within the MT4 Software Platform just as is illustrated and shown below.

Once you have selected new order button just as is shown/illustrated above following trade order window pop up will appear and you as the trader can use this trade order panel pop up to set the Stop Loss Order Level for your new indices trade.

This popup includes settings for placing a new indices trading order as well as parameters for placing Stop-Loss Level.

Set Stop-Loss Order on MetaTrader 4 Android App

The Following StopLoss Order Settings are specified for placing a new StopLoss:

Indices Trade Stop Loss Indices Order - Set Stop-Loss, This one can be set/put after placing a trade, or for pending orders

Open Buy/Sell Trade Position by Clicking the Following Buttons:

Sell by Market - Open Sell Trade
Buy by Market - Open Buy Trade

To Buy at prevailing stock price and open a new stock order choose Buy by Market order button

To Sell at prevailing stock price and open a new stock order choose Sell by Market order button

After opening the new stock trade transactions use the Stop Loss Order Panel Window Above to Set StopLoss for the New Indices Order

You can also get this panel window so as to modify an opened buy or sell trade position - To get this order window panel for a buy or sell trade position, right click on opened buy/sell position, then after that you click 'Modify Order' button key after you press on modify order button and the above order settings button will popup and appear & you can set StopLoss using the lesson explained above.
