Dealing Desks will issue stock traders with a lot of order requotes, meaning stock prices of orders are not real-time and stocks trading broker can requote a stock trader's order if the stocks price of the stocks market changes quickly enough before the broker's dealing-desk places the order online or before they match the order in online stock market.

Dealing Desk accounts therefore means that order execution of stock orders isn't instant & therefore this execution model may mean that trading orders executed using a DD Stock Account are not executed as quickly as when compared to an ECN stock trading account or an STP stocks trading account.
