MT5 demo cfd account is a free practice account provided for beginners online cfds traders, otherwise known as a demo cfds trading account that you practice with, the cash on a practice account is virtual, not real money. No one uses real money to begin with, all novice traders use the demo cfd account to practice with before investing real money. The MT5 cfd demo account is meant to provide free CFD training practice while learning how to trade the online cfds market.
You'll need to sign up with an online cfds broker before you can get this free practice account. After you signup and register you will then receive sign in credentials for your MT5 practice account. You will then use these cfd account sign in credentials to login to your cfd MT5 demo cfd account & begin practicing with.
Setting Up MetaTrader 5 CFDs Platform
After you have gotten the MT5 cfd account details you will then install MetaTrader 5 software on your PC computer. If you have never installed any software before navigate to the folder where you downloaded the cfd MetaTrader 5 platform (don't know where that is, just Press both Ctrl and J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your MT5 download will appear), double-click the download platform software file & then click next, next until you finish.
After you've installed MT5 software you will then open the program from the start menu of your computer. After you have opened the MetaTrader 5 cfds trading software you will see the interface you will be working with and it may seem complicated at first but it's not. At the 'top left corner' of the MetaTrader 5 platform click on the 'File' Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see 'Login' and click it. You will then be asked to enter the 'username' and 'password' which you got when you registered and signed up on your broker's website.' You are now logged in to your cfd MT5 platform and you're ready to begin cfd.
After this you will see your cfd account balance displayed just below the cfds charts and you as a trader can use now begin using the MT5 to place demo trades on the cfds market.
