Trading Commodities Hide Commodities Symbols on MT4 Platform
To hide Commodities Symbols on the MT4 software use MT4 "Market Watch" Window.
To Open MT4 Market Watch Window, Click "View" Menu next to the "File" Menu at the tops left corner of the MetaTrader 4 commodities trading platform, then from the drop down menu select "Market Watch" button so as to open the "Market Watch" on the MT4 commodity Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window panel the list of available commodity symbols will be displayed on the MT4 platform.
As a trader you may want to hide some of the commodity symbols available on the MT4 platform so as only to be left with the commodity instruments that you are only trading with.
If you want to hide Commodities Symbols commodities price quotes on this Market Watch window, Right Click within Market Watch window and a Pop Window appears - from this window pop up choose option - "Hide All" - this will then close all the commodity symbols that you are not trading with - only commodity symbols that you have opened commodity charts to trade with will be left on this display of commodities trading symbols.
To hide commodity Symbols on the MT4 software use commodity step by step procedure explained below:
To Save Internet Bandwidth, (Especially if you are using mobile trader, or pay per MB inter-net)
To save inter-net band width select a list of all the commodity instruments you'll be trading by opening charts for only these commodity symbols, say example, 5 commodity instruments, after selecting these commodity symbols by opening their trading charts, then choose and click the "Hide All" button, this will then hide all the symbols which you don't need to trade with and this will save you internet band width.
Even if you don't want to save internet bandwidth, you can choose the option to "Hide All" commodity symbols on the MT4 platform, this will save PC Desktop computer processor resources & RAM, especially if you trade with a broker that provides hundreds of commodity instruments, commodity symbols and financial instruments, there no need to have all these 100 or 200 commodity symbols and financial instruments streaming commodities price quotes on your MT4 or MT5 commodities trading platform after all you need only about 10 to 20 commodity instruments or a few financial financial instruments to trade with. You can always "Show All" commodity symbols >>> then Select a new commodity quote by opening its chart, >>> Then "hide all" after you've selected the new commodity symbol, your newly selected commodity symbol will be added on this minimized list of commodity symbols on the MT4 platform.
