Place New Order in Tools Menu in MetaTrader 4 Software
A new commodity order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu found within the MT4 Commodity Trading Software as illustrated below. New order button key for placing a new commodity trade is shown below. (Keyboard ShortCut Keys "F9")

Once you select the new order button as illustrated and illustrated above the following commodities trading order pop up window panel will pop-up.
This popup includes settings for placing a new commodity trade order.
How to Set Commodities Orders in MetaTrader 4 Platform
Following Order Settings are specified for setting and placing a new commodities trade order:
- Quote - Specify the instrument to be traded - commodity.
- Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
- Stop Loss Commodities Order - Set StopLoss Commodity Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending commodity orders
- Take Profit Commodities Trade Order - Set TakeProfit Commodity Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending commodity orders
- Type: Market Execution or Pending Commodity Trading Order
- Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
- Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade
To Buy at current commodities price & open new commodity order choose Buy by Market commodity order button
To Sell at current commodities price & open new commodity order choose Sell by Market commodity order button
