Place ADX Technical Indicator
This Lesson will explain how to place the ADX trading indicator on charts on the MetaTrader 4 Software. For Technical analysis: ADX Analysis.
How to Place Technical Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Window
Open the Navigator panel as illustrated below - Go to "View" menu (then click it) & then choose "Navigator" window panel (click), or From Standard ToolBar click the "Navigator" button key or press key-board short cut keys "Ctrl+N"
On the Navigator panel, choose "Indicators", (Double Press)
Step 2: Expand Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator
Expand the technical indicator menu by pressing the expand(+) button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) and will now show as a listing as illustrated below.
From the Above window you then can add any indicator which you as the trader want on the +trading chart.
Placing Average Directional Movement on a Trading Chart
Step 1: Select the ADX button on the MT4 list of indicators as shown below:
Step 2: DoubleClick the ADX Button, & press ok to place the technical indicator onto the chart as pictured below:
Edit ADX Indicator Setting
To Adjust the Settings, right click in the ADX, select properties setting & then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop-up menu which pops & then click okay button key once you have changed the settings.
The following popup window appears & ADX settings can be edited from this popup window.
