Place Bollinger Bands Indicator in Chart on MT4

How to Place Indicators in MT4 XAUUSD Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator panel as illustrated below - Navigate to 'View' menu (then click it) and then choose 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click 'Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut key 'Ctrl+N'

On the Navigator panel, select "Indicators", (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the XAUUSD Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking expand button mark (+) or double click 'indicators' menu, after that, this button will then now appear as (-) and will now show as a list as shown below.

From Above panel you can then add any indicator you want on the chart.

Placing Bollinger Bands

Step 1: Select the Bollinger Bands button on the MT4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Bollinger Bands Button, and click ok to place the indicator in the chart as shown below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change the Settings, right click on Bollinger Bands, choose properties setting & then edit properties using the pop up menu that pops up & then click ok button once you have changed the setting.

Following pop up panel pops up and Bollinger Band settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
