XAUUSD Trading Platform MT5 Setup

After you have registered for a practice demo practice trading account - you'll use the trading account sign in details and you as a gold trader can use then download and install the MT5 platform on your PC computer. If you have never installed any software before go to folder where you downloaded it (do not know where that is, do this Press both Ctrl and J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your key board, & a listing of your downloads will pop up), double click the download MT5 file & click next, next until you finish.

After you have installed MetaTrader 5 platform you'll then open the MetaTrader 5 platform from the begin menu of your PC computer. After you've opened the MT5 platform you will see MT5 software interface you'll be working with & it may seem complex at first but it's not.

How to Setup MT5 Platform Software

At the 'top left corner' of the MetaTrader 5 software click on 'File' Menu, a drop-down menu pops up, scroll to where you see "Log in" and click it. You will then be asked to enter 'username' & 'password' that you got when you signed up for a MetaTrader 5 practice account on your broker's website.' You're now signed in to your Meta Trader 5 software and you are ready to start trading in MT5 platform.

After this you'll see your account balance displayed just below the charts & you can now start using the MT5 platform to place practice demo trade transactions on the market.
