How Do I Add a Trend Line in MetaTrader 5?
To add MT5 Trend Lines in MetaTrader 5 software - use MT5 trend lines drawing tool.
Choose the MT5 trend line plotting tool as shown on the MT5 xauusd example illustrated and explained below - then choose MT5 chart point 1 where you want to start drawing the MT5 trend line then choose MT5 chart point 2 where you want to connect the MT5 trend line & then extend the trendline into the future prices.

The MT5 tools to draw these MT5 trend lines are located on the MetaTrader 5 trend line drawing toolbar within the MT5 platform - To access this MT5 tool bar if it is not activated on your MT5 platform, Press in 'View' Next to the 'File' menu at left top corner of MetaTrader 5 and click View, Then Click on Tool Bars, Then Tick the 'Lines Tool Bar' by clicking on it.
