Place Moving Average Indicator in Chart on the MetaTrader 4 Platform

How to Add XAU USD Indicators on MT4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Software Platform Navigator Window Panel
Open the Navigator window panel such as illustrated below - Go to the "View" menu (then click it) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard ToolBar click "Navigator" button or press keyboard shortcut keys "Ctrl+N"
On the Navigator panel, choose and select "Indicators", (Double Press)
Step 2: Expand the XAUUSD Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator
Expand this menu by pressing the enlarge button mark sign ed and tagged '+' or doubleclick "indicators" menu, & after that the button then will now appear as (-) & will now be put to display as a listing like is illustrated below.
From the Above panel you as a trader can then add any indicator you want on to the chart.
Placing MA on Chart
Step 1: Select the Moving Average button on the MetaTrader 4 list of indicators as pictured below:
Step 2: Double-click the MA Button, & click okay button to add the technical indicator to the chart such as illustrated and shown below:
Edit Indicator Setting
To Adjust the Settings, right click in the Indicator, select properties setting & then edit properties of the technical indicator using the pop-up menu that pops & then click okay button once you've changed the settings.
The following pop up panel appears and Trading Indicator properties settings can be altered & edited from this popup window.
