How to Place MT5 Indicators on MT5 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Window
Open the Navigator window as shown below - Navigate to 'View' menu (then click it) and then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press key-board short cut key 'Ctrl+N'
On MT5 Navigator panel, choose "Indicators", (Double Press)
Step 2: Expand MT5 Trading Indicators Menu on the Navigator
Expand menu by pressing expand button marker (+) or double click 'indicators' menu, after this the MetaTrader 5 button will appear as (-) & will now show as a list as shown below.
From Above window you can then add any Meta Trader 5 technical indicator that you want in the MetaTrader 5 chart.
Placing Moving Average on Chart
Step 1: Choose the Moving Average button on the MetaTrader 5 list of technical indicators as shown below:
Step 2: Doubleclick the MA Button, & click okay button to place the technical indicator onto the chart as pictured below:
Edit Indicator Settings
To Change the Settings, rightclick the Technical Indicator, choose properties setting & then edit properties of the technical indicator using the pop-up menu that pops and then click okay button once you have changed the setting.
Following pop up window appears & MetaTrader 5 Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
