How Do I Log onto MetaTrader 4?
- Select the "File" Menu
- Select Accounts & Click "Log In"
- Type your Metals Login Account Number & Password.
- Select the correct server - Demo Metals Trading Account select Demo Server, Real Metals Account Choose Real Server.
- Select the checkbox "Save Account Data Information".
- Press Sign in Button.

Before placing any trade on the MT4 metal trading software, you will be required to log in to your metal account and get authenticated before gaining access to this account. Authentication is checking to see if the details that you provide for Username and Password are the correct login details.
To start trading on MetaTrader 4 platform, just click on "File", then tap and click "Sign in" button from the file drop down menu as shown below.

As a trader once you click this log in button key, then a pop up window panel will appear prompting you to input your Metals Account Username and Password as shown below:

Once you input your Metals Account Username and Password you will then have to select the trading server: because this is a demo metals trading account, for this instance you'll then select "Demo", if it was a real metals trading account/live metal trading account then you would have to select "Real" Server on this option by clicking the drop down arrow on the right side of the above text box on the MT4 platform.
Then tick box "Save Account Information"
Then Click "Login"
Once you click sign in your MetaTrader 4 metal trading account details will be authenticated & you will then have access to your MT4 metal account and when logged in to your trading account you can begin to trade and place new orders in the metal market on the MT4 platform. If you do not have login credentials you can get these details by registering a practice metal trading account with a broker.
