Once you have successfully registered for a stock demo practice account, use the provided login credentials to download and install the MetaTrader 5 software onto your desktop computer. If you are unfamiliar with installing PC software, navigate to the folder where the download is saved (if you're unsure where that is, simply press both Ctrl and J, or (CTRL+Y) on your keyboard: your downloads should then appear), double-click the downloaded MT5 file, and proceed by clicking next, next until the installation is complete.

After you've installed the MT5 platform you will then open MT5 software from the start & begin menu of your PC computer. After you have opened MT5 software you'll see the MetaTrader 5 software interface you will be working with which might & may seem complicated at first but it isn't.

At "top left corner" of the MT5 software click "File" Menu, a dropdown menu shows up, scroll down to where you see "Sign in " and click it. You are now logged into your MT5 platform and you're ready to begin stock trading in MT5 software.

After this you'll see your stock account balance portrayed just below the stock charts & you can now start using the MT5 software to place practice trade positions on the market.
