What's MT4 Charts Tabs?

When you open a lot of charts on the MT4 software software, these charts are arranged in navigation tabs bar just below the MetaTrader 4 chart workspace as pictured below.

If the display bar lacks highlights like in the images, follow these steps. Show the bar and tabs on your MT4.

On "View" menu drop-down listing option, the 4th button is named "Charts Bar" as pictured above. To view this display bar on the MetaTrader 4 platform just click and check or tick this button & the it'll appear and be shown like as shown below showing all the open trading charts as tabs which a trader can use to open any of these listed charts.

Once you tick this option the MT4 bar appears and this MetaTrader 4 bar also has right & left arrows that a stock index trader can use to scroll to the left or to the right & navigate other open charts from this MT4 bar.

These MetaTrader 4 chart tabs help organize open charts in the MT4 platform. They let online traders quickly reach any chart they've opened.

As the Stock Index trader continue to open more charts, this MT4 Bar of chart tabs adds navigation arrows to the right and to the left MetaTrader 4 bar, this way a trader can scroll to the left or to the right of this MT4 bar of chart tabs until they find the chart which they want to trade.

To make it easier to use, each tab on this MT4 bar also shows the time period that a specific trading chart is set to. The last MT4 Tab doesn't show the chart's time period, so a stock trader must use the arrow buttons on either side of the tab to move around. When the trader gets to one end, the arrow turns gray - like the right scroll arrow button above, which is gray because the first chart is on the right side of this MetaTrader 4 bar.
