Place New Order in Tools Menu in MT4 Software

A new order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu within the MT4 Platform. The Button key for placing a new trade is instanced below. (Keyboard Short Cut Keys "F9")

Placing a New Trading Order

As a trader, once you choose the new order button as illustrated and shown above the following pop-up window will appear. This popup window includes all the settings used for placing a new trade order.

The Following Settings are specified for setting up a new order:

1. Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded - energies.
2. Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
3. Stop Loss Energies Trading Order - Set Stop Loss Energies Trading Order, This option can also be set after opening the trade, or for the pending orders
4. Take Profit Energies Order - Set Take Profit Energies Trading Order, This option can also be set after opening the trade, or for the pending orders
5. Type: Market Execution or Pending Energies Trading Order
6. Sell by Market - Open Sell Trade
7. Buy by Market - Open Buy Trade

To Buy at current price hit the Buy by Market button

To Sell at current price hit the Sell by Market button

Setting Pending Energies Orders

To Set a pending trade at another energies trading price, Change the "Type" option from "Market Execution" to "Pending Energies Order' as shown & illustrated below.

A menu list will appear and illustrate the following options.

1. Buy Limit Energies Trading Order
2. Sell Limit Trading Order
3. Buy Stop Energies Trading Order
4. Sell Stop Trading Order

Once you choose the type of pending order to place: then click the "Place" button as shown on the above screenshot to complete the setup.
