Setting Up MT5 Gold Trading Platform

After you have signed up for a gold demo practice account - you will use the account log in credentials and you as a trader can use then download and install the MT5 software on your computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the folder where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and a list of your downloads will pop up), double click the download MT5 file and click next, next until you finish.

After you have installed the MT5 software you will then open the MT5 platform from the start menu of your computer. After you have opened the MT5 platform you will see the MT5 platform interface you will be working with and it may seem complicated at first but it's not.

At the "top left corner" of MetaTrader 5 platform software click on the "File" Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see "Login" and click it. You will then be asked to enter the "username" and "password" which you got when you registered for a MT5 practice trading account on your gold broker's site.'
