To add gold symbols on the MetaTrader 4 platform software use the MT4 'Market Watch' Window - To Open the MetaTrader 4 Market-Watch Window, Click 'View' Menu next to 'File' Menu at the top left corner of your MetaTrader 4 Software - from the dropdown menu select and choose 'MarketWatch' button key so as to open the 'Market Watch' in MetaTrader 4 platform software.
Once you open the MetaTrader 4 Market-Watch panel the list of available gold symbols will be illustrated and displayed on the MetaTrader 4 software & as gold trader you can open a gold chart from the MetaTrader 4 market-watch window. From this MetaTrader 4 Market watch panel you also can add gold symbols on the MetaTrader 4 platform software.
If you want to add more gold symbols on this MetaTrader 4 Market-Watch window, Right Click within the MT4 Market-Watch panel and a Pop Panel Window appears - from this MetaTrader 4 pop-up window select the choice/option - 'Show All' - this will then display all the symbols that are available for trading in MetaTrader 4 platform software.
Once the symbols are opened in MetaTrader 4 Market-Watch window, you can then choose any of the quote and open a gold chart by double clicking on that gold symbol.
