How to Open a Chart in MT4 - MT4 Platform Live Charts

Once you have opened a demo account the next step is to open a chart so as to begin trading.

For this example lets start with a blank screen on the MT4 software interface.

To open a new chart from the example below, click the "File" tab at the top left corner of the MT4 platform as shown below, then select the option "New Chart".

After clicking "New Chart" a dropdown menu will appear with list of currency pairs that as a trader you can select which chart to open. For example the first currency pair in the selection is the EUR USD, clicking EUR USD will open the chart for this currency pair.

The following chart will then be opened on the MT4 software as shown below.

As a trader you can maximize the chart as shown below & you can then open trades from the charts or you can place technical analysis indicators to analyze the currency price movement.

This is how to open a new chart on the platform. You can open as many charts as possible & these will be arranged in form of chart tabs & you can navigate using these chart tabs as displayed below.
