Place Standard Deviation Indicator on Chart in MT4

How to Place Indicators on MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on FX Software

Open Navigator window as shown and illustrated below: Navigate to ' View ' menu (click on it), then select ' Navigator ' window (click), or From Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press keyboard shortcut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, choose 'Indicators' , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown and illustrated below.

From Above window you can then place any technical indicator you want on the chart.

Placing Standard Deviation FX Trading Indicator on a Chart

Step 1: Choose the Standard Deviations button in the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Double click Standard Deviation Button Key, & click okay to attach the indicator on the forex chart as shown below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right-click in Standard Deviation Indicator, choose properties & then edit the settings using the popup menu that pops up & then click ok button key after you have changed settings.

The following pop up window appears & Standard Deviation Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window.
