Setting Up MT4 Gold Trading Platform

After you have signed up for a practice - you will use the account login details and you can then download and install the MetaTrader 4 platform on your computer. If you have not installed any software before go to the folder where you downloaded it (don't know where that is, just do this Press both Ctrl & J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and a list of your downloads will pop up), double-click the download MT4 file and click next, next until you finish.

After you have installed the MT4 software you will then open the trading software from the begin menu of your PC computer. After you've opened MetaTrader 4 software you'll see the trading interface you will be working with and it may seem complicated at first but it's not. TheLearn MT4 software tutorials will be explained under the learn lessons section where you will get a detailed explanation of how to use this MetaTrader 4 platform in just one hours time.

At the "top left corner" of MT4 platform software click on the "File" Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see "Login" and click it. You will then be asked to enter the "username" and "password" which you got when you registered for a practice trading account on your broker's site.' You are now logged in to your MT4 platform & you are ready to begin trading in the MT4 platform.

After this you will see your account balance displayed just below the charts and you can now start using the MT4 platform to place demo trades on the gold market.
