To add more charts on the MetaTrader 5 platform use MetaTrader 5 'MarketWatch' Window. To Open MT5 Market Watch Window, Click 'View' Menu next to 'File' Menu at the top left corner of MetaTrader 5 Platform & then from the dropdown menu select 'MarketWatch' button key so as to open MetaTrader 5 'Market Watch' on MT5 platform.

Once you open MT5 Market Watch panel the list of available financial instruments will be displayed on the MT5 platform and as trader you can open any chart from this MetaTrader 5 marketwatch window panel.

If you as a trader want to add more charts - on this Market Watch window, Right Click within the MT5 platform Market-Watch panel and a Pop Window appears - from this popup window select the option - 'Show All' - and this will then display all the instruments which are available for trading in MT5 platform.

Once these trading instruments are opened in the MT5 MarketWatch window, you can then select xauusd & open a chart by double clicking on that gold symbol.
