How to Analyze XAUUSD Symbol on MetaTrader 4
To add gold symbols on MetaTrader 4 platform use the MetaTrader 4 "Market Watch" Window - To Open the MetaTrader 4 Market Watch Window, Click "View" Menu next to the "File" Menu at the tops left corner of your MetaTrader 4 gold Platform - from the drop-down menu choose "Market Watch" button key so as to open "Market Watch" in the MT4 software.
Once you open MT4 Market Watch window panel the list of available gold symbols will be displayed in MT4 platform & as gold trader you can open a gold chart from this MetaTrader 4 market watch window panel. From this MT4 Market watch window you can also add gold quotes in the MT4 platform.
If you want to add more gold symbols on this MetaTrader 4 Market Watch window, Right Click within the MetaTrader 4 Market Watch window and a Pop Window appears - from this MetaTrader 4 popup window select the option - "Show All" - this will then display all the gold symbols that are available for xauusd trading in MetaTrader 4 software.
Once the gold quotes are opened on MT4 Market Watch window, you can then choose any of the gold symbol & open a gold chart by double-clicking on that gold symbol.

To get the other MetaTrader 4 gold symbols that are not listed on this MetaTrader 4 Market Watch window, you can right click inside this MetaTrader 4 market watch window as shown below and the following window will appear. You can then choose the "Show All" MetaTrader 4 button so as to display all the available gold quotes in the MT4 platform.
How to Interpret Gold Symbol on MT4
To show a list of other MetaTrader 4 gold symbols, choose the "Show All" button, this will then display all the available MetaTrader 4 xauusd trading symbols.
