To set a Buy Stop Order in MT4 Software - Use the "New Order" window panel on MetaTrader 4 platform 'Tools' menu.

As a xauusd trader, once you select the new trade order button as illustrated above following pop up panel will pop-up. This pop up window includes all the parameters for placing new order.

Choose the trading instrument that you want to set a Buy Stop Order for - then open it's gold chart & from the chart set the Buy Stop Order using the Buy Stop Order setting guide described on this example depicted & described below:
Trading Open a Buy Stop Order in MT4 Platform
- Open a XAUUSD Gold Chart
- RightClick on Chart to open the Trade 'Order' Window
- On the Order Panel, Select Pending Order as shown below
- Choose Pending order Type as Buy Stop as Show below
- After choosing Buy Stop- Click 'Place' Order and specify the buy stop price level where the trade order will be opened
