Gold Stop Entry Order - Gold Stop orders are set to buy above or to sell below the current market price. Stop entry orders are automatically executed to open new trades once the price reaches the specified stop entry price region.
Stop-Loss Order - Stop loss orders are orders set by traders to close a trade automatically after price has moved against their open trade transaction by a number of specified pips. This is done to stop more losses for that particular trade position. A gold stop loss is automatically executed by the MetaTrader 4 platform software.
Another difference is that stop entry orders open new trades while stop loss close open trade transactions.
