MetaTrader 5 software is the software you install on your PC computer. For this learn gold trading course we shall refer to MetaTrader 5 or MT5, because it is the easiest gold platform software to learn with and the most widely used.
MT5 also requires very little inter net bandwidth, that way even if you do not have a super fast inter net connectivity you can use MT5 without any problem. You will need to register first with a broker before you can download the MT5 platform.

MT5 demo xauusd trading account is a free practice account provided for beginners online xauusd traders, otherwise known as a demo xauusd trading account that you practice with, the cash is virtual, not real money. No one uses real money to begin with, all novice traders use the practice xauusd account to practice with before investing and depositing real money to trade with. The MT5 xauusd trading practice account is meant to provide free Gold Trading training practice while learning how to trade the online xauusd market.
You'll need to sign up with an online xauusd trading broker before you can get this free practice account. After you signup and register you will then receive sign in details for your MetaTrader 5 practice account. You will then use these xauusd trading account sign in details to login to your xauusd MT5 practice xauusd trading account & begin practicing with.
Setting Up MT5 XAUUSD Trading Platform
After you have gotten MetaTrader 5 xauusd trading account details you will then install the MT5 software on your PC computer. If you have never installed any software before go to folder where you downloaded the xauusd MT5 software (don't know where that is, Press both Ctrl and J i.e. CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your MT5 download will appear), double-click the download platform software file & then click next, next until you finish.
After you have installed MetaTrader 5 platform you will then open the trading software from the start menu of your PC computer. After you have opened the MT5 software you will see the trading interface you will be working with and it may seem complicated at first but it's not. The MT5 software tutorials will be explained under the learn lessons section where you will get a detailed explanation of how to use this MT5 platform in just one hours time.
At 'top left corner' of MT5 software click on the 'File' Menu, a drop down menu appears, scroll to where you see 'Login' and click it. You will then be asked to enter the 'username' and 'password' that you got when you registered on your broker's site.' You are now logged in to your gold trading MT5 platform & you are ready to begin xauusd trading.
After this you will see your gold trading account balance displayed just below the xauusd charts and you can now start using the MT5 to place demo trades on the xauusd trading market.
