MetaTrader 4 Login Authorization
Once you start your MT4 platform you will have to login to your demo gold trading account or real xauusd account - this is known as MetaTrader 4 Login Authorization. For MT4 Login Authorization, click on file then click login
The following pop up appears
Sign in to Account - MetaTrader 4 Sign in Authorization
Specify your gold account number & password, server you can choose using the down arrow. Tick the "save log in information" and click login - Gold MT4 Sign in - MT4 Sign in Authorization. This is known as MetaTrader 4 login authorization, every time before trading you'll have to perform authorization in MT4 platform.
MT4 Login Authorization Failed
If the MT4 Login Authorization Failed while you were trying to login to your xauusd trading account you will need to check if you typed the correct MetaTrader 4 Login Number as well as the correct Login Password. You can try to retype again the gold log in credentials - gold account number & gold trading account password to try & see if this solves the MetaTrader 4 Login Authorization Failed Error.
You can also check to confirm that on your MT4 platform you are using the correct MetaTrader 4 Server for your xauusd software - if you are trading on a practice gold trading account then confirm the demo server is selected and if you are using a real gold trading account then confirm the real server is selected on MT4 gold login window below the Account Log in & Account Password Form Field.
If you still get this error - MetaTrader 4 Login Authorization Failed - you can try to restart your MetaTrader 4 platform and then retype your xauusd trading account log in credentials using the procedure described above.
If you are using a demo xauusd trading account you can also register for a new demo xauusd trading account and get a new demo xauusd trading account that has new xauusd account log in credentials - Gold Account Number & Password and you as a trader can use this new Demo xauusd trading account to log in to MT4 platform.
If you are using a gold trading real MetaTrader 4 gold account then you can change your xauusd trading account login details from your Client Area - Secure Client Area - Gold Trading Cabinet on your xauusd broker website & then use the new xauusd trading account login details to log in to the gold MT4 software.
