MT4 Live Charts

Once you've opened a practice xauusd trading account the next step is to open a XAUUSD chart so as to start xauusd trading.

For this xauusd trading example let's begin with a blank screen on the MetaTrader 4 gold trading platform inter-face.

To open a new chart from the trading example shown & described below, click the 'File' tab at the top left corner of MetaTrader 4 platform as shown below, then select the option 'New Chart'.

After clicking 'New Chart' a drop-down menu will appear with list of instruments that as a trader you can choose which chart to open. For example clicking the choice for XAUUSD, clicking Gold will open the chart.

The following chart will then be opened on the MT4 platform as cited below.

You as the trader can maximize the chart as shown below & you can then open trades from the charts or you can place technical analysis indicators to analyze the price movement.

This is how to open a new chart on the trading platform. You can open as many charts as possible and these will be arranged in form of chart tabs & you can navigate using these chart tabs as shown below.
