MetaTrader 4 Live Charts

Once you've opened a practice gold account the next step is to open a XAUUSD chart so as to start xauusd trading.

For this xauusd gold trading example let's begin & start with a blank screen on the MT4 gold platform inter-face.

To open a new chart from the trading example shown & described below, click the 'File' tab at the top left corner of MT4 platform like shown below, then select and choose the choice/option 'New Chart'.

After clicking 'New Chart' a dropdown menu will appear with list of financial instruments that as a xauusd trader you as a trader can select which chart to open. For illustration clicking the choice for XAUUSD, clicking Gold will open the chart.

The following chart will then be opened on the MetaTrader 4 platform as cited below.

You as the Gold trader can maximize the trading chart such as shown below and you as a trader can then open trade positions from the charts or you can place analysis indicators to analyze the price movement.

This is how to open new chart on the trading platform software. You can open as many charts as possible and these will be arranged in form of chart tabs & you can navigate using these chart tabs just as is illustrated and shown below.
