Place Average True Range Indicator on Metal Chart in MT4 Software

How to Place Metal Technical Indicators in MT4 Metal Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below: Navigate to " View " menu (click it) and then select " Navigator " window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window panel, choose 'Indicators' , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Metals Trading Indicator Menu on the Navigator

Expand trading indicator menu by clicking on the expand button key marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now explain and display a list as illustrated and shown below.

From the Above window you can then place any trading indicator that you want on the metals trading chart.

Placing ATR on a Metals Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Average True Range Button Key, and click okay to insert the ATR on the metals chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit Metal Technical Indicator Settings

To Alter the Settings, right click in the ATR, choose properties settings and then edit the properties of technical indicator using pop up menu that appears and click ok button once you've changed setting.

The following window panel popup pops up & Average True Range Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this window panel pop-up.
