Place Stochastic on Chart on MT4
This Lesson will demostrate and describe how to place the Stochastics Indicator on Trading Chart in the MetaTrader 4 Platform. For trading analysis: Technical analysis of trading Stochastic Oscillator.
How to Place Trading Indicators on MT4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Software Platform Navigator Window
Open the Navigator panel window as shown below - Navigate to the 'View' menu (then click it) and then select and choose 'Navigator' window (click), or From Standard ToolBar click 'Navigator' button or press key-board short cut key 'Ctrl+N'
On Navigator window, select "Indicators", (DoubleClick)
Step 2: Expand Technical Indicator Menu on the Navigator
Expand menu by clicking the expand (+) button mark (+) or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) & will now be put to display as a list as shown below.
From Above panel you then can add any indicator which you as the trader want on the chart.
Placing Stochastic Indicator on Chart
Step 1: Select the Stochastic Oscillator Indicator button on the MT4 list of technical indicators as shown below:
Step 2: Double click the Stochastic Indicator Button, & click ok to place the technical indicator onto the chart as portrayed below:
Edit Indicator Settings
To Adjust the Settings, rightclick the Technical Indicator, choose properties setting & then edit properties using the pop-up menu which pops and then click ok button once you've ch
Following popup panel pops and shows up & the technical indicator parameter settings can be edited from the pop-up panel.
