Day Traders

Stock day traders do not leave overnight stock trade positions.
Stock day traders will open & close stock trades many times during the day & they can open 5 to 10 stock trades in one day.

Stock day traders will typically use shorter stock chart timeframes such as the 15 minutes stock charts.
Stock Day Traders will only hold their stock positions for a few hours.
Swing Traders
A stock Swing trader will trade the medium term stock market swings movements.
A stock Swing trader will open and leave their stock trades open for days or weeks in order to capture the medium term stock market swings.
Stock Swing traders will open 3 to 5 stock trades in one week.
Stock Swing traders will use stocks trading strategies that capture the medium term stock price market moves.
Stock Swing traders will typically use stocks chart timeframes such as the hourly stock charts or even daily stock charts.
Stock Swing Traders will only hold their stock positions for a few days to a few weeks.
Position Stocks Traders
A stock Position trader will trade the long term stock market positions movements.
A stock Position trader will open and leave their stock trades open for weeks or months in order to capture the long term stock market trends.
Stock Position traders will open 5 to 10 stock trades in one year.
Stock Position traders will use stock trading strategies that capture the long term stock price market moves.

Stock Position Traders will hold their stocks positions long enough so as to catch the long term stock trend movement.
