How to Trade in MetaTrader 5 Software

To login & stock trade in MetaTrader 5 platform follow the step by step guide described below:

Open MT5 stocks platform that is installed on your PC
Choose File Menu at the tops left corner of MT5 stocks trading platform
Select Login to Trade Account from the File dropdown menu
Type your MT5 stock account sign in & password
Select the Server - Real for MetaTrader 5 real stocks account and Demo for MetaTrader 5 practice stock trading account
Click Ok Button to Log in to MetaTrader 5 Stocks Trading Account

To trade in MT5 software follow the step by step guide described below:

Select View Menu at the tops left corner of MT5 platform
Choose Market Watch panel from the view dropdown menu
Once you open the Market Watch window panel
Select the stock instrument that you want to trade
Open the stock chart of that stock instrument by double clicking on the stock trading instrument
On the stocks chart, right click on the stocks chart
Select New Order
Select Buy or Sell to open a buy stock trade or a sell stock trade.

On the stocks order window panel you will also need to specify the lot size for the trade you want to open.
